Beautiful multicolored thumbnail elbaite crystal that is very gemmy and mostly light to medium watermelon for most of its length transitioning into a slightly darker, 5 mm thick green layer followed by a very distinct 0.5 mm blue-green zone, then a 0.5 mm very pale pink to almost achroite band, a 1.2 mm dark pink band, a 1 mm medium violet band and finally a 0.5 mm dark pink band. Simply marvelous! As with the other crystals in this update, the crystal is terminated by the pedion with minor pyramidal faces and upon close inspection, the pedion has a faint triangle shape lightly etched into the termination! Striated prism faces are very lustrous. Weight is 2.18 grams.
