Blue Alkali Beryl
Unknown Owner
This is a doubly terminated, tabular, lustrous and translucent, sky blue alkali-rich beryl crystal measuring 1.8 cm across and perched on a bit of matrix. These were originally thought to be Rosterite or Vorobyevite, but further analysis by Dr. Federico Pezzotta confirmed they are alkali-rich beryls.
