A beautiful, doubly terminated, interestingly color-zoned amethyst crystal from an uncommon Kazakhstan locality - Preozersk. The 4.2 cm, sharp, moderately lustrous and translucent crystal is set on matrix. The violet amethyst shades are very pleasing.
