Exquisite, doubly-terminated, pinkish-red Ruby that is GEMMY, from the famous Mogok locality. This complete-all-around floater from the gravel deposits there has sharp, lustrous faces and clear, gemmy areas within the crystal - very unusually pristine for something from this deposit! A high quality stone, the crystal itself is aesthetic and weighs in at 35.17 carats and has spectacular luster. Good red fluorescence. This is from not one, but two of the major thumbnail collections of our time
