No, this isn't the prettiest rhodo around, but it IS a SINGLE CRYSTAL 4.5 cm across, and is thereby not only a very interesting twinned rhodo specimen but is also an important Mt. St. Hilaire locality piece, as much of the material from this find in the late 1970's consisted of only thumbnail-sized crystals (as related to me by Ernie Schlicter, one of the discoverers of the pocket). Very sharp faces and interesting twinned crystallography, with two smaller crystals growing on top of the monster as "ears." Also some minor polylitionite on backside. 5 x 3.3 x 2.7 cm
