Lustrous anatase crystals to 7 mm are artfully embedded on and in a beautiful, water-clear quartz crystal from Hardangervidda, Norway. Trivial edge wear on and near the quartz termination and to the termination of the large anatase crystal is certainly not detracting, as you can see. Dr. Hansen obviously prized this specimen, which he obtained in a small lot trade with the Smithsonian, who in turn traded with the Geology Museum at the University of Oslo.
