This is an unusually light-colored and pretty Elmwood fluorite, on a bit of sparkly sphalerite matrix. The crystal measures 3 cm along the edge. What is cool about it is that you can see the process of etching that often happened in these pockets had begun with this one, working its way into the side faces of the crystal, but leaving the gemmy corner that sometimes resulted in nothing left but a gemmy corner with a conical, etched-away back side, a notable oddity characteristic of the Elmwood. The fluorite is complete all the way around. 5.2 x 4.3 x 3.7cm
