This huge 519-gram crystal is one of the largest Russian zircons that I know of, in good form. It is from a classic and highly important locality, from which good specimens are uncommon. It is in fact almost a floater and nearly complete all around except for a minor contact at the bottom and a few trivial dings: really quite more obviously 3-dimensional in person. It has great heft, and the unusual color is not unattractive. It is NEARLY complete all around, as I said. It has a nice glassy, wet-looking luster to it A significant rarity only recently released from a private collection! 8.1 x 6.4 x 4.6 cm
