Description
Dark green crystal group of epidote from the classic area of Italy that produced some of the best epidote crystals ever. Historically, this area of Europe produced some of the only specimen-grade epidote available to collectors before the famous finds in the Austrian Alps in later years. This specimen has a nice green color and bright luster. The terminations are a little rough but are still compete with no noticeable damage. The piece is contacted on the bottom. Specimen comes with a rare label from the Peter Zodac collection (he founded Rocks and Minerals magazine in the 1920s). 5.3 x 3.2 x 1.7 cm
