Sprays of lustrous, gem azurite crystals to 1.2 cm richly invest the curved vug in the boot-shaped, malachite-coated, massive sulfide matrix on this fine, cabinet azurite specimen from the Tsumeb Mine and the Rob Smith Collection. The azurite crystals have incredible sparkle and gemmy flashes in person. Gem azurites have always been uncommon from Tsumeb.
