Elbaite, Quartz (Var: Smoky Quartz)
This wonderful Namibian specimen of tourmaline crystals with smoky quartz crystals is a matrix-free floater! What is more, all but one of the terminations on the tourmalines is complete, and all the smokies are complete and doubly-terminated as well! The tourmalines range up to 4.8 cm in length, and are a deep gemmy green with pink at the tips.
