Intergrown, elongated crystals of epidote to 4 cm in length (a few are doubly terminated) serve as host for lustrous and translucent, apple green prehnite. The backside has a thin crust of snow white laumontite on the back side. The underside also exhibits remnants of dark epidote crystals.
