By comparisons, this doubly terminated "cuprian colored" elbaite is a giant. It is like the others, etched, yet still exhibits elongated crystal faces. This slender crystal is glassy and gemmy, with a rich ocean-blue color. Like the next specimen, this piece has a different color than all others here. It is not a strong teal hue, or highly saturated, but it is a gorgeous and unique blue color of its own that looks like a high-end Brazilian aquamarine color, rather than a tourmaline color. The gem weight is 8.47 carats. A true gem crystal!
