Richly colored with a superb teal blue color, this stalactitic, lustrous and translucent classic is a perfect small cabinet piece, out of the collection of noted Arizona specialist Evan Jones. The thin layer of later quartz deposition covers and protects the soft chrysocolla specimen underneath, which is aesthetically perched on matrix. The fingers reach 5 cm in length and not a one of the five major "fingers" is broken - highly unusual! There is a contact on the back side with a broken 6th finger but it is not visible from the display view. Specimens in this condition that are complete are very seldom seen for sale. Evan had a contract with the mine for awhile in the 1990's to buy these at company auction and resell them and kept this at the time for his own collection.
