Rare for the historic and ancient Lavrion Mining District, these sprays of metallic yellow Sklodowskite sit perfectly on a layer of gemmy, crystallized Gypsum. Uranium minerals are known for their colorful appearance, and these sharp sprays, with needle-like crystals up to 4 mm, are a vibrant yellow so typical for the species. Distributed nicely across the matrix, their color and form create a beautiful, unique aesthetic. Named after Marie Skłodowska-Curie, which is about as famous as you can get, this excellent miniature was found in 2016. Rare material.
