A unique specimen composed of a huge pair of intergrown Fluorapatite crystals, laced with long needles of Actinolite. The largest of the Fluorapatites is an impressive 6 x 6 x 2.4 cm. The luster is superb, and the crystals are gemmy. The larger crystals is well-terminated on the top, and contacted at the bottom. The smaller intergrown crystal is terminated at the bottom and so rich in Actinolite at the other end that growth was interrupted. The longest Actinolite crystal is about 5 cm, and about .1 cm thick. An impressive, unusual specimen for any alpine suite.
