An old-timer combo specimen from a classic California locality! This is a specimen of solid lavender lepidolite microcrystals, intergrown with bladed albite, but the star of which is dozens of very gemmy deep pink tourmaline crystals. The tourmalines measure to 1.5 cm. The combination of the white, pink and lavender is truly dazzling - what a pretty and showy (and sizeable!) specimen to demonstrate the richness of California pegmatites!
