Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. The color here is a little more on the raspberry side, but hey its close enough. On this piece, these unusually transparent octahedrons measure up to 2 cm on edge. 9.5 x 8.2 x 4.0cm
