Fluorite
The Gordonsville is less well-known than the nearby Elmwood (both are zinc mines), but it has turned out specimens of equal caliber, and, sadly, is now closed along with the Elmwood. This is a very fine, sharp, large fluorite, sitting very attractively on a bed of shiny dolomite crystals. It is complete and undamaged, with a contact only on the back resulting from removal from the pocket. The crystal measures 4.7 cm along the edge. Very fine! 10.1 x 7 x 4.5 cm
