A superb example of the finds of Milpillas from the heyday, circa 2010, showing robust and fat crystal form. This piece is doubly-terminated and pristine! It shows an electric surface shimmer to the rich blue azurite that contrasts starkly with the velvety partial alteration to malachite in the center. Notably, the tips are still azurite for maximum contrast and aesthetics. The luster on the azurite is very high... overall making this one of the more balanced, large crystals in this size and price range. Joe Budd photo.
