A 1.4 cm, sharp, gemmy, deep red spesartine garnet is beautifully perched atop a sculptural matrix of pearlescent muscovite and quartz on this aesthetic specimen from recent finds in the Shengus Valley of Pakistan. The garnet has textbook trapezohedral form and is nearly pristine. Very highly representative material from this well-known locale. The unretouched backlit photo highlights the gemminess and gorgeous red color saturation.
