Description
This is a likely older cluster of crystals from the famous Chiá Mine, in Brazil's tourmaline rich districts of Minas Gerais. It features a diverging spray of multicolored crystals and masses 90 grams. Dramatic and 3-dimensional, it stands elegantly in a case. It is repaired (3-4 times, with restorations at the site of the repairs — cleanly done but evident under UV light), and hence the lower price for a tourmaline of this visual impact. Associated with minor purple lepidolite.
