Fluorite on Fluorite
This is a colorful small cabinet piece from the first spring-2013 find showing intense grape-purple curving fluorite crystals to 3.5 cm on edge in two clusters (to 5 cm across) perched on a natural pedestal of pastel green fluorite. This is a rich, robust color! Overall, a very good example of the curved octohedron form this find should be justly famous for, looking onward. Few smaller pieces were saved and/or recovered.
