Beryl (Var: Red Beryl)
Unknown Owner
Two pair of beautiful, rose-red beryl crystals are aesthetically set on the foot-shaped rhyolite matrix on this fine piece from the Wah Wah Mountains of Utah. The crystals are gemmy and lustrous and reach 9 mm. The upper right-hand crystal, at 7 mm, is doubly terminated and is particularly gemmy. This is a very fine large miniature representation of the rare species with glowing color, from this noted locale. Ex. Saller Collection of Germany.
