This locality has produced some of the most classic and easily recognizable Baryte specimens from anywhere in the United States. The grey-blue color combined with the excellent quality of the crystals makes them a Colorado classic, for sure. Here we have a great group of sharp, chisel-point crystals that have silky to very good luster, and they are actually quite gemmy. From the Leeson Pocket, which produced some of the best quality Barytes ever collected in Colorado in the 1980's.
