Splendent, brilliant black to silvery-black tetrahedrite crystals to 1.3 cm richly and showingly cover the massive sulfide matrix on this excellent speicimen from the well-known Mercedes Mine of Peru. The crystals are simple tetrahedrons and have striated faces. Highly representative material of the species and locale.
