Water-clear Dal'negorsk Fluorites are among the finest ever found, and among the most desired. This light mint-green cube is totally transparent with only a hint of color! The bit of matrix at the base appears as a garden growing into the crystal, this Fluorite is so gemmy (and it is much better in person). At 3.1 cm, this is a very respectable size Nikolai Mine specimen. There is a minor amount of edge wear, but it has no real affect on the outstanding aesthetics. I catch my breath just a little bit every time one of these good ones comes across my desk, which is not all that often. The piece is made more special by little tiny galena crystals, floating within.
