This thumbnail specimen is one of the sharpest, most interesting Chessy pieces I have seen. It features two RAZOR SHARP, complex cuprites that have altered to malachite (as is common for the locale) and then again altered to Azurite - a double pseudomorph, quite rarely seen. Although the crystals are small, it has overall impact visually due to the intense color saturation and sharp form. I obtained this by exchange from a French collector who prospects the old mine dumps from 100-200 years ago and has long had this in his own collection. Joe Budd photos.
