Description
These came out in the late 1990's, and I recall that this piece was simply one of the most aesthetic of the small lot which went to dealer Cal Graeber in California at the time. I sold it and got it back, recently. It has a great waxy luster and an interesting form. Although etched a bit in back, it is complete, and these are huge crystals for the species. The color and luster make the find unique, as well. There are a few gemmy highlights along with a rich orange color. I have not seen this quality since the late 1990s and was happy to get this back for sale.
