Silky luster and good crystallization highlight this crystal of Malachite pseudomorphing Azurite. The Malachite also exhibits a rich, emerald green color. The radiating pattern of the Malachite needles is really quite attractive. A photo of this specimen may be seen on page 42 in 'Minerals of Namibia' by Shields and Frances Flynn.
