Description
Attractive and quite unusual, this Silver specimen from Peru has so much going for it. The wire crystals are spinel-twinned and reach nearly 4 cm in length, and the form resembles the slats of a fence with many of the wires strait and parallel, topped off by another Silver wire acting as a rail. The luster is excellent, with a coppery to iridescent patina. There is also an outlying, 4 cm Silver wire that adds interest to the piece. Quite aesthetic, and much better in person. Comes with a custom base. Art likely bought this himself down in Peru on one of his many trips for work.
Known provenanceKnowing where your specimen comes from and who owned it adds to its story and value. Good provenance helps prove it's authentic and preserves important details about its discovery.
