Corundum (Var: Ruby)
Opaque corundum or ruby crystals, with perfect hexagonal form, still embedded in the granitic matrix - from NORWAY! This rarity came out of the Gene Meieran collection. The two largest crystals measure 1.5 cm across and are complete and terminated, with sharp faces.
