An impressive 15cm Brandberg that is highly lustrous and very gemmy. It is nearly doubly-terminated: Each termination is nearly complete save for several intergrown and partially broken smaller crystals angling back - they are complete on the front faces, by all means. The gemmy main crystal has a deep-purple zoned core that is remarkably visible and distinct. Basically, this is like a 6 inch smoky enclosing a sharp amethyst, with beautiful color contrast and overall symmetry.
