This is a classic multicolored Himalaya Mine Elbaite Tourmaline from 1990 that Doug Wallace collected with Bill Larson. This glassy, 4 cm gem crystal features a rich pink, pyramidal termination with the following two-thirds of the crystal a transparent, olive green that has a diffuse boundary with the underlying saturated, gem pink zone that extends to the base of the crystal. It has sharp edges and faces and the prism faces are lightly striated. It is a very fine 11.3 gram piece.
