Millerite
A huge specimen of lamellar growth millerite forming in layers at this classic and now defunct nickel mine. The millerite completely filled cracks in the rock to form thick layers of parallel-grown acicular crystals. It is very bright and golden-colored, and totally unique for millerite occurrences. I have not seen such a large piece out there in years. It weighs in at 2 pounds, or 835 grams! And, it's completely crystallized all around.
