Gemmy and lustrous, brick-red to reddish-brown uvite crystals to 2.4 cm comprise this sculptural plate from the Brumado deposits of Brazil. The large crystal is very interestingly elongated on one end. Uvite tourmaline clusters of this quality are not that common from Brumado - they usually occur only as single isolated crystals on matrix.
