Highly lustrous, jet-black neptunite crystals to 2.2 cm are beautifully scattered on the aesthetic, boat-like matrix vug on this classic and excellent specimen from the Dallas Gem Mine of California. Ex. Marty Lewadny Collection of Winnepeg, Canada. The well-centered, large neptunites and the contrasting/accenting snow-white natrolite and blue matrix are noteworthy.
