This is not only a fine, big, doubly-terminated Cruzeiro tourmaline on its own, but be certain to look at the incredible photo of the gemmy, pristine crystal growing right through its lower termination! Have you ever seen anything quite like this? The large crystal is translucent if not quite transparent in clarity, and has a rich forest-green color to it. One termination is a truly perfect, equant pyramid - very sharp! The other termination is a basal termination on the bottom where the little crystal grows across. At any rate, this specimen came from the Leithauser Collection of Germany, noted for good specimens! 67 grams in weight. 9.3 x 2.6 x 1.8 cm
