Description
Swiss (Alpine) Smoky Quartz crystals are the zenith for this variety. The luster, gemminess, and overall form are usually superb for the specimens from this region, and this single is no exception. It is glassy, just the right amount of smokiness, and it is totally gemmy throughout. There is the tiniest of edge wear at the tip, but it doesn't affect the overall aesthetics - this is a choice representative from this area that leaps out for clarity and color from any other smokies around the world.
