A remarkably attractive, unusually zoned Ruby crystal from the Mogok Stone Tract, with both shape and style that makes it different from most others. This little gem has a near perfect hexagonal outline and great luster. It is transparent to translucent with a larger light pink central area and a thin, 1 to 2 mm, pinkish red rim that highlights the sharp shape, when seen head-on. It has a mass of 6.3 grams and displays great fluorescence! A HIGHLY unusual gem thumbnail for ruby.
