Kidwellite
Kidwellite is a rare hydrated phosphate, not named until 1974. Bubbly, botryoidal pastel-green to dark olive-green kidwellite richly covers the very sculptural vug in limonite matrix on this fine specimen from near the type locality in Arkansas. The form of this piece is unusual, but in a way, entrancing for its rolling hillocks of thick kidwellite covering the matrix. Superb for the species.
