Nestled aesthetically in a quartz vug is a cluster of very lustrous, dark blackish green crystals of atacamite, to 1.5 cm in length. A superb specimen with textbook morphology and incredible GLASSY luster, for the species. This crystal can stand its own with almost any other I have seen for sale from old Australian finds, and outshine even those in the luster department. This piece is INCREDIBLY sparkly in person and is hard to photograph because it is so reflective.
