Description
Senegalite is a very rare aluminum phosphate found in only two localities worldwide and this piece is from the Type Locality in Senegal. This very rich and fine specimen is from a very recent rediscovery of this rare species and features large box-work-like cavities lined with senegalite and various phosphates species in a limonite gossan matrix.
