Azurite, Malachite
A GORGEOUS and aesthetic Chinese specimen of highly lustrous, navy-blue azurite blades to 5 mm in a vug rimmed by malachite and as a coating on matrix from the recent find at the Liufengshan Mine. We acquired this lot at the 2005 Tucson Show and really caused a stir. Many extremely knowledgeable dealers and collectors at the Show remarked that these azurites with malachite bear a remarkable resemblance to classic Bisbee material! 8.8 x 7.5 x 6.7 cm
