Now here is a really unusual rarity: sharp, lustrous crystals of azurite that have grown on the tips of quartz crystals of a light blue color from a thin coating of a copper-rich mineral. These days, crystallized azurite specimens of any kind from Mexico have gotten hard to obtain, and this is a really special specimen. From the well-known California collection of Charles Hansen.
