Siderite - South Africa, Northern Cape

Siderite
Description
A rare locality piece: a plate of gemmy, doubly-terminated Siderite crystals on, along with Chalcopyrite crystals, a blue-grey crust (possibly a Mn Oxide?), all on matrix. These Siderites have excellent symmetry, reminding one of the wheat-sheaf Rhodochrosites from N'Chwaning. The color contrast with the blue-grey crust is outstanding. Ex. Charlie Key stock.
