Description
A gorgeous large miniature or small cabinet-sized cluster of over a dozen, lustrous, pink-red Rhodochrosite rhombs from one of the world's classic localities for the species, with a lot of beauty on the display face. Crystal faces and edges on this stunning piece are sharp, and all of the crystals are transparent to translucent and measure from 0.5 to 1.5 cm on edge! The diamond-shaped rhombs are very distinct and extend around the periphery of the piece giving it great three-dimensionality. The coverage and vibrant pink-red color of this Rhodochrosite produces a huge impact whether it's in your hand or in a case across the room. This Rhodo is beautifully accented by a few small (2 to 3 mm) Fluorite cubes and several needle Quartz crystals that protrude from around the edges of the cluster, both species providing additional aesthetics. This is a dramatic and gorgeous specimen for its size class and without damage or repairs. There is only a small contact at one end of the piece, not damage, and it is otherwise complete all around. The matrix consists of numerous, small, metallic gray Tetrahedrite crystals and Quartz. A phenomenal miniature from the 1990s era of the Sweet Home mine!

How this data is collected: Our system continuously monitors mineral listings from authorized dealer partners across the internet. We have explicit permission from all dealers whose listings we track - any dealers who have not provided specific and explicit authorization are NOT listed and NOT tracked by our system. When a previously available listing is marked as sold or removed from sale, we record this as a completed transaction. While we cannot guarantee the exact final sale price (as negotiations may occur), this data represents publicly listed prices for specimens that have transitioned from "for sale" to "sold" status. This provides valuable market insights based on observable listing behavior patterns.
