Description
It is quite unusual to see these bizarre Mexican cassiterites on the market - so called "wood tin" cassiterites, for their woody appearance (tin being the component of cassiterite that makes it an important ore worldwide). It has a broccoli form, with a stalk and botryoidal cap.
