Glittering, cherry-red "gems" of rhodochrosite from Peru. Gemmy, truly red crystals of rhodochrosite are rare from anywhere. Here, they are beautifully isolated in a field of dark manganese and quartz crystals. The rhodochrosite crystals measure to 1.2 cm.
