A rare, larger specimen of the polybasite found in the mid-1970s at this remote mine and stored away in the miner's coffee can (as the infamous story goes) for decades. I have NEVER seen a large matrix specimen for sale, and this one is loaded with poly blades to just under 1 cm. Many have iridescent, beautiful luster and as a whole it displays wonderfully although as with all of them just about, there is some minor damage here and there from the coffee can packing method.
